September 2005: IMAGE SCIENCE LAUNCHES NEW 2D MTF SYSTEM
Image Science is proud to announce its new 2D MTF system. Most MTF systems calculate MTF in only two directions - Tangential or Sagittal. Our new 2D MTF system can calculate MTF in any arbitrary direction. The 2D capability allows us to measure true Tan and Sag MTF’s at any point in a 2D image plane, or it can be used to explore the variation of MTF as a function of azimuth angle.
